The employees of the Allan M Block Insurance Agency selected the Tarrytown Salvation Army Food Bank for their holiday drive this year.  “With food banks across the region in need of supplies, we were glad to help”, said Margaret Black, operations manager.

 

Collecting over 300 pounds of food, the employees showed their holiday spirit of sharing.  “As the bags started piling up, we began using a second room to store all the food.  We could have opened a mini-supermarket with all the food that piled around” said Black.

 

The Tarrytown Salvation Army provided the agency with a shopping list to fill the Christmas dinner bags they plan to distribute.  The staff also added food staples needed by the food bank.

 

Each year the Allan M Block Agency employees support a local charity during the holiday season.
